Ms. Annmarie has been teaching American Sign Language (ASL) for over 20 years and holds an Associate's Degree in ASL Interpretation and a Child Development Associate certification in Early Childhood Education. She spent 11 years at Florida's Deaf Literacy Center creating custom ASL programs for learners of all ages, from infants to adults, and led a 7-year parent/child ASL program. She has also taught preschool ASL for 10 years and has been teaching on Outschool since 2020. Her classes are interactive, accessible, and rooted in connection — whether she's teaching little ones their first signs or helping elementary students build strong friendships through social-emotional learning.
Ms. Nicole is a hard-of-hearing educator with two bachelor’s degrees from Colorado State University. She has been teaching on Outschool since 2020 and brings over five years of experience teaching in-person classes and camps. She has also taught ASL in preschool settings for five years, helping young learners build early communication skills through play and interaction. Ms. Nicole teaches ASL, creative writing, and GeoGuessr classes for learners ages 12–18, and she co-teaches our 10–12 transitional ASL classes with me.
Ms. Maria, an art educator with over 34 years of experience and degrees in Special Education and Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, guides students through beginner-friendly painting and drawing classes.
Ms. Lisa Marie is Deaf and teaches ASL classes for learners ages 10–18, allowing students to learn directly from a native ASL user and gain authentic exposure to Deaf culture and communication.
