Who We Are
Groovy Learning, LLC is a dynamic, family-owned, and woman-owned educational business based in Colorado, offering online and in-person classes. Our expertise lies in teaching American Sign Language (ASL) and life skills education, empowering learners of all ages to develop essential communication and practical skills. We also offer engaging online classes in creative writing, poetry, art, and history, ensuring a rich and diverse learning experience. Our approach is rooted in accessibility, creativity, and passion, with instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of every student and age group.
Ms. Annmarie has been teaching American Sign Language (ASL) for over 20 years and hold an Associate’s Degree in ASL Interpretation and a Child Development Associate certification in Early Childhood Education. I spent 11 years at Florida’s Deaf Literacy Center, where I created custom ASL programs for learners of all ages, from infants to adults. I’ve also led a 7-year parent/child ASL program, taught preschool ASL for 10 years, and have been proudly teaching on Outschool since 2020. My classes are interactive, accessible, and rooted in connection—whether I’m teaching little ones their first signs or helping elementary students build strong friendships through social-emotional learning.
Ms. Nicole is a hard-of-hearing educator with two bachelor’s degrees from Colorado State University. She teaches ASL, creative writing, and GeoGuessr for learners ages 12–18, and co-teaches our transitional 10–12 age group with me.
Ms. Allie, our competitive Fortnite coach**, leads gaming clubs where students build confidence and teamwork in fun, safe spaces.
Ms. Maria, an art educator with over 34 years of experience and degrees in Special Education and Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, guides students through beginner-friendly painting and drawing classes.
